Give Thanks and Give Back!

The Philanthropy Club’s Thanksgiving Donation Drive is in full swing! This is a wonderful opportunity to help families in need during the holiday season. Donations can be made online, and every contribution — big or small — truly makes a difference. Thank you for helping spread kindness in our community!

Join us for a fun Private Shopping Event at Wish Boutique & Wish Gift, a local gem full of unique clothing and gifts. It’s the perfect excuse to get a head start on your holiday shopping (and maybe treat yourself, too!). We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, November 13th from 6 pm to 8 pm. Please sign up so we can have a headcount.

We’ve officially kicked off our RaiseRight event! This program makes it simple to contribute toward holiday gifts for Belleview’s amazing teachers and staff. It’s an easy, heartfelt way to say thank you for all they do throughout the year.

Meet Belleview’s Incoming PTCO Co-President: Mel Fry!

In the month of November, we’re introducing our new PTCO Co-Presidents — and in this newsletter, we’re excited to spotlight Mel Fry!

“My wife, Jen, and I moved our family of four from Seattle to Denver in the spring of 2024. We love the Colorado sunshine and are so excited to get more involved at Belleview. This year, we have a kindergartener and a second grader.

I work in tech, and Jen has spent several years building her financial advisory firm. We live within walking distance of the school, and you’ll often see me walking our dog, Jupiter, in Cherry Creek State Park after school drop-off. We’ve recently taken up ice skating as part of our Colorado adventure — so if you spot us at Family Sports Center, please say hello!” - Mel Fry

Philanthropy Club Fall Food Drive - Donate by 11/11

Let’s work together to support families in our CCSD community experiencing food insecurity or homelessness. Your family can participate in the Philanthropy Club’s Fall Food Drive in TWO easy ways this year! You can make an online donation and/or donate new personal hygiene items or cleaning supplies for families.

100% of your online donations will be used to purchase Thanksgiving food items and grocery gift cards, and the Philanthropy Club will assemble all items into wonderful meal kits during our November meeting. IMPORTANT: The deadline to donate is earlier this year due to the timing of our meeting! The deadline to donate online is Tuesday November 11.

Collection boxes for personal hygiene items will be in the front lobby of school starting October 28 and you can drop off items until our Philanthropy Club meeting on Thursday, November 13!

End of Year Gifts for Teachers and Staff

The holiday season is approaching. It's time to show our appreciation for the incredible teachers and staff at Belleview! This year, instead of sending physical gifts, we invite you to contribute online to a collective gift fund. Your donation will allow teachers and staff to choose the perfect gift for themselves.

Here’s how it works:

Select the teachers and staff members you'd like to send a gift to.
Choose the amount you'd like to contribute for each one (donations can be made in $5 increments).
Complete the form to finalize your donation.

The deadline to purchase holiday gifts for Belleview’s teachers and staff through Raise Right is Friday, November 21st. Staff will receive their gift cards before winter break.

Thanks to the amazing generosity of the Belleview community, we raised a little over $30,000 during the Every Dollar Counts Campaign. We are deeply grateful for your donations - because when you give to the Belleview PTCO, you are investing in our students, our staff, and our entire school community. If you would still like to donate, it's not too late! Donations can still be made online at the PTCO website. Thank you!

Yearbook Photos Needed!

We’d love your help capturing special moments throughout the school year! If you take photos at school events, field trips, or other fun happenings, please share them with us for the yearbook.

You can send pictures directly to Ms. Nelson via email: rnelson14@cherrycreekschools.org. Please include the grade and teacher with the photos.
